If you made your way to this page, you're likely starting to question your relationship with alcohol for one reason or another and you may be experiencing some of the same things I did...
Feeling an inner knowing that alcohol is no longer agreeing with you but wanting to ignore the knowing.
Feeling frustrated by alcohol’s hold over you – feeling powerless despite being disciplined
and successful in every other area of your life.
Afraid of what you will miss out on if you make a choice that goes against the norm.
Exhausted by the mental chatter resulting from thinking about drinking.
Afraid of failing yet another attempt to moderate or quit drinking so continuing down the same road even though you know that alcohol is holding you back from being the best version of yourself.
In my early 40s (as I was starting to dance with perimenopause) I wondered if alcohol was really the cause of many of the unfamiliar symptoms I was starting to experience.
I was having chronic heartburn and popping antacids almost every night. I was waking up several times a night. I was experiencing bouts of anxiety that I couldn't explain. I noticed I wasn't enjoying having a glass of wine as much as I did in the past. It just didn't seem to agree with me.
Deep down, I suspected that the wine I was drinking regularly was the problem, but I didn't want to admit it because alcohol was such a big part of my social life!
Alcohol touched so many experiences...the celebrations, the drinks after work, the girl's nights outs, and the boating weekends. I connected with my husband over a bottle of wine. Alcohol was also a way (I thought at the time!) to soothe myself after a stressful day.
I couldn't imagine who I would be or what life would look like if I quit drinking. At the same time, alcohol was starting to feel like a "frenemy." You know, that friend you love that has been with you through so many good times, but at some point, you just don't jive any more - you know she's dragging you down, but don't know how to break up with her.
I did not have a drinking problem or an alcohol addiction. I was drinking what would be considered to be "acceptable" by most. But after months of COVID lockdowns I had definitely seen my consumption creeping up.
So what did I do? Instead of ditching the booze, I tried to cut back and focused on doing all the other healthy living things.
I ate healthy, I exercised, I did yoga, I saw a naturopath, I tried to create rules around drinking to moderate (which often failed)...instead of doing what I knew I really needed to do. Stop drinking. The mental chatter was exhausting, and I was frustrated with myself.
In August of 2020, I hit a breaking point, and I knew I had to make a change. I couldn't ignore the signals my body was giving me any longer and I decided to remove alcohol for "a while." I treated it as an experiment to see how I felt and supported myself by leaning on many of the mindset tools I had been applying in other areas of my life.
The changes I felt within a few short weeks were mind-blowing.
And when I started doing more research and learned the truth about alcohol, I was shocked.
Fast forward to today and I live happily alcohol-free.
This group course was amazing. Laura covered all the information needed and provided support tools to guide us through. She provided many relevant and useful guest speakers that provided tools and strategies to remain focused and committed to our goals.
Laura was supportive through the entire six weeks and I enjoyed listening to other participants on group calls. I would recommend this course to anyone who is ready to make a change in their lifestyle.
I am so happy that I completed this journey and it has forever changed my life for the better. Thank you Laura!

This course was such an eye-opener for me and had so many benefits...improved and more restful sleep, I'm calmer with an increased ability to deal with stressful situations, I've decreased my anxiety and mind chatter and have reduced inflammation (joint pain). It was the best gift I've ever given to myself!
I would highly recommend the Still Me, But Alcohol-Free program to anyone curious about embarking on an alcohol-free lifestyle. Laura's commitment to providing knowledge and evidence-based information and support has been instrumental in helping me achieve my personal goal of committing to an alcohol-free lifestyle.

I am proud of myself for completing the six weeks and I believe I have stopped a cycle of drinking without thinking.
I am sleeping so much better. I do not have pain in my right knee like I did and I do not beat myself up and feel guilty about drinking too much.
Learning the information about the truth about alcohol is something I never wanted to know, but now that I do, I can't unlearn it and that is good. I know I am healing now.

I came into the program feeling nervous and fearing I would not be successful at trying out an alcohol-free lifestyle. With Laura's support and knowledge, and the support of the other members, I was able to be alcohol-free and learned so much about myself along the way. The portal content far exceeded my expectations. It is evident that Laura thoughtfully laid out the program to be informative and supportive in all aspects. The Still Me, But Alcohol-Free program is a must for anyone who'd like to experience what freedom, confidence, and self-love feels like.

I joined Laura’s Still Me, But Alcohol-free program out of curiosity. I’m was very much a social drinker and found there were often too many social events where alcohol was always being served. It was becoming a habit that I wanted to change.
Laura’s program provided support, knowledge and the community to build better habits and face challenges without relying on alcohol.
What surprised me the most was the sense of connections and support with others in the group. Laura is a great facilitator and creates an environment that is supportive and enjoyable to be a part of.

What makes this program different?
Holistic approach
I'm often asked for recommendations for non-alcoholic drinks, but that is only one piece of the puzzle. This program provides a wide variety of content that help educate you, shift your beliefs, provide practical resources, and expose you to well-being practices that will help you live happily alcohol-free.
Not a 30-day challenge
Have you white-knuckled your way through a 30-day challenge and been miserable the whole time? This is not a 30-day challenge. The program is intended to make the transition feel more fun and easier. I will become a launching pad to set you up for success with the experience and tools to continue on whatever path is right for you.
Experienced, relatable guide
When I was looking for resources at the beginning of my journey, much of the information I found didn't feel relatable because it was created by women who were alcoholics. I created this program based on my own experience for women who want to quit drinking with a goal of health and wellness in mind.
Tailored experience
Choose the self-guided program if you are ready to dive in right away or sign-up for the next group experience if you want more support, accountability, and access to a community of like-minded women. Ease into quitting in the third week of the program or choose to quit drinking for the whole six weeks.
Evidence-based information
One of my superpowers is distilling down large amounts of information into easy-to-digest nuggets that are actionable. This program will save you all the time and energy I invested in researching the truth about alcohol and supportive practices. For those who want to dive deeper, there are research links and additional resources provided.
Access to experts
The program goes well beyond just my own experience. I've included interviews with 13 experts to draw on their expertise and perspectives on different health and wellness related topics and practices.
